Ingredients/Components
- milk
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- 9-inch pie shell - 1 item
- beaten eggs - 3 item
- dash of nutmeg - 1 item
- slices bacon, diced - 8 item
- natural Swiss cheese, shredded 2 c - 8 oz
How to make quiche lorraine:
Bake pastry shell in very hot oven (450°) only 7 minutes, or just until lightly browned. Remove from oven; reduce oven temperature to 325°. Cook bacon until crisp; drain and crumble and reserve 2 tablespoons of the bacon bits. Place remaining bRecipe categories: Breakfast, Main dish, Savory pies.
