Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/3 c
- flour
- brown sugar
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- egg yolks - 5 item
- canned pumpkin - 3 c
- milk evaporated - 1 c
- 1/2 sticks oleo - 1 item
- Filling:2 envelopes Knox gelatine
How to make pumpkin torte:
Filling:2 envelopes Knox gelatine1 1/2 c. brown sugar1 tsp. salt1 tsp. nutmeg2 tsp. cinnamon1 c. milk (evaporated)5 egg yolks3 c. canned pumpkin Mix flour, oleo and nuts like pie crust and put in 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350°. Cool.Mix gelatin, sugar, salt and spices. Stir in canned milk and egg yolks. Add pumpkin. Keep stirring while cooking for about 10 minutes. Will thicken as it cools. Chill filling and then pour into baked crust. Cover with Cool Whip.
