Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- warm water
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- yeast - 1 pkg
- salt to sprinkle on top - 1 item
How to make pretzels:
Put water in bowl. Sprinkle in yeast and stir. Add salt, sugar and flour. Mix and knead dough with hands. Roll and twist into pretzels. Place on greased cookie sheet and brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle with salt. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Breads, German, Flat Shaped breads.
