- eggs - 6 item
- butter or margarine - 1 lb
- vanilla flavoring - 1 Tbsp
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- lemon flavoring - 1 Tbsp
- box plain flour use confectioners sugar box - 1 item
How to make pound cake:
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add flour and 1 egg at a time (rotating flour and eggs). Add flavoring last. Cook 1 hour at 325°. If the cake seems to be cooking too fast, turn down to 300°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
