  • flour
  • vanilla flavoring - 1 tsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • Crisco - 3/4 c
  • box confectioners sugar - 1 item
  • lemon flavoring - 1/2 tsp
  • almond flavoring - 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 sticks butter - 1 item

How to make pound cake:

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add flour and water alternately. Add flavoring. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
