  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • Crisco shortening - 1 c
  • box powdered sugar - 1 item

How to make pound cake:

Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs and vanilla to milk. Alternate with milk and dry ingredients. Bake at 325° for 1 hour in a greased and floured tube pan.
