- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- butter - 1 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 3 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- lemon flavoring - 1 tsp
How to make pound cake:
Cream together sugar, Crisco, butter and eggs. Add milk, vanilla and lemon alternately with flour and baking powder, beginning and ending with flour. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan (or use Pam spray) at 325° for 1 hour and 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
