Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 4 item
• vanilla
• milk - 1 c
• salt - 1 tsp
• flour
• baking powder
• Crisco - 1/2 c
• stick oleo - 1 item

How to make pound cake:

Beat Crisco, oleo and sugar until creamed. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until fluffy. Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add to Crisco mixture alternately with milk beating well. Mix in vanilla. Bake in tube pan at 350° for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Cool in pan after loosening sides.
