  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • baking powder - 3 tsp
  • Crisco - 1/2 c
  • fresh strawberries - 4 c
  • mini marshmallows - 1 c

How to make strawberry shortcut cake:

Generously grease 13 x 9-inch pan. Sprinkle marshmallows evenly over bottom of pan. Combine strawberries and jello. Set aside. Combine remaining ingredients and beat for 3 minutes. Pour batter evenly over marshmallows. Spoon strawberry mixture over batter. Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 350°. Serve warm or cool with whipped topping.
