Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- stick butter - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- parsley - 2 Tbsp
- medium onions, chopped - 2 item
- ribs celery, chopped - 4 item
- potatoes, peeled and cubed - 3 4
- milk to make light white sauce - 3 4
How to make potato soup:
Cook potatoes until done with only enough water to cover. Cook onions and celery in butter until tender, adding flour and cooking until smooth. Add milk to make a light white sauce. Add parsley, salt and pepper. Pour sauce in with potatoes, simmer about 20 minutes. Serve hot.Options: Hot pepper or Mr. Pepper can be substituted for pepper.
