Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • water - 2 c
  • whipping cream - 1 c
  • butter or margarine, melted - 3 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • dried parsley flakes - 3 Tbsp
  • sliced celery - 1 c
  • coarsely chopped onions - 1 c
  • peeled, cubed potatoes - 4 c

How to make potato soup:

Cook potatoes, onion, salt and celery in 2 cups water about 15 to 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Mash with a potato masher and cook, stirring constantly, until soup is hot and thickened.
