Ingredients/Components
- flour - 6 Tbsp
- butter - 6 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1/3 c
- heavy whipping cream - 1/2 3/4
- chicken stock - 8 c
- diced potatoes - 5 c
- medium leeks, chopped - 3 item
How to make potato soup:
Saute leeks and onion in butter; add flour and mix well. Add chicken broth to potatoes with onion mixture. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cook until potatoes are done, about 8 minutes. Add whipping cream and heat through.Recipe categories: Potato, Vegetables, Soups & stews.
