half and half
salt - 1/2 tsp
butter - 1 Tbsp
pepper - 1/8 tsp
can chicken broth - 14 oz
medium onion, chopped - 1 item
large cooked potatoes, peeled and diced - 4 item

How to make potato soup:

Saute onion with butter. Add remaining ingredients until potatoes are soft. Put into blender and blend until smooth. Return to pan and add half and half. Thoroughly heat. Put in soup bowls. Top with sour cream and chives.
