Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- dry mustard - 1/4 tsp
- celery seed - 1/4 3/4
How to make potato salad dressing:
Combine milk, sugar, vinegar, eggs, butter, cornstarch, salt, celery seed and dry mustard in 1-quart glass bowl. Microwave until thick. Stir often. Cool. Add 1/4 cup salad dressing or more to your liking. Add 1/4 cup chopped onion. Thin with milk, if you wish. Add to cooked, diced potatoes; chill. This is enough for about 7 medium cooked potatoes and 3 hard-cooked eggs.Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., Potato, Vegetables.
