  • sour cream - 2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • melted margarine - 1/2 c
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • crushed cornflakes
  • onion, chopped - 3/4 c
  • can cream chicken soup - 1 item
  • shredded Cheddar - 2 c
  • bag frozen hash browns thawed - 2 lb

How to make potato casserole:

Topping:2 c. crushed cornflakes1/4 c. melted margarine Combine all ingredients except potatoes in large mixing bowl. Add potatoes, mix thoroughly. Sprinkle top with cornflakes mixture. Bake in a 13 x 9-inch glass baking dish for 45 minutes at 350°. Can be made ahead and put in refrigerator.
