Ingredients/Components

  • sour cream - 2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • melted margarine - 1/2 c
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • grated Cheddar cheese - 2 c
  • frozen hash brown potatoes - 2 lb
  • undiluted cream of chicken soup - 1 c
  • crushed corn flakes mixed with 1/4 c - 2 c

How to make potato casserole:

Heat oven to 350. Thaw potatoes. Combine with rest of ingredients except corn flakes. Sprinkle buttered corn flakes on top. Use large, flat Pyrex dish or 3 quart casserole dish. Bake approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
