Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- oil - 1 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1 tsp
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1/3 c
- parsley - 1 Tbsp
- cracker crumbs - 1/4 c
- instant mashed potato puffs enough for 4 servings
How to make potato cakes:
Prepare potato as on package; let it cool. Combine cheese, crumbs, egg, parsley, onion and salt with potato; heat the oil in a skillet. Form small round patties of potato mixture. Fry in skillet on both sides, 4 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Vegetables.
