  • salt - 1 tsp
  • oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • hamburger - 1 lb
  • tomato juice - 2 c
  • celery salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Worcestershire - 2 Tbsp
  • rice, cooked - 1/2 c
  • green pepper, finely chopped - 1/4 c
  • whole cloves - 4 item
  • clove garlic, finely chopped - 1 item

How to make porcupine balls:

Combine first 7 ingredients. Form into balls about 1 1/2-inch diameter. Place remaining ingredients in a 2-quart casserole dish. Cook 3 minutes. Add meatballs to tomato mixture. Cover with lid. Continue cooking for 2 to 3 minutes or until boiling. After boiling, cook for another 20 minutes.
