Popcorn balls
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- light or dark corn syrup - 2/3 c
- white popped popcorn - 1 gal
How to make popcorn balls:
Mix corn syrup, sugar and salt in heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil, about 2 minutes. Gradually pour syrup over popcorn, stirring constantly, until evenly coated. Shape into balls, using as little pressure as possible (you may want to butter your hands).
