Praline pecan crunch
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- firmly packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
- pecans - 2 c
- Karo light corn syrup - 1/2 c
- original Quaker Oat Squares - 8 c
How to make praline pecan crunch:
Heat oven to 250°. Combine cereal and pecans in a 13 x 9-inch pan. Combine corn syrup, brown sugar and butter in 2-cup microwavable bowl. Microwave at High 1 1/2 minutes; stir. Microwave 1/2 to 1 1/2 minutes more or until boiling. Stir in vanilla and baking soda and pour over cereal mixture; stir to coat evenly. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes.
