Polish noodles and cabbage
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- caraway seed - 1 tsp
- sour cream optional - 1/2 c
- oleo margarine - 1/4 c
- chopped or sliced cabbage - 4 c
How to make polish noodles and cabbage:
Melt butter in a large skillet. Add onion and saute until soft. Add cabbage. Saute for 5 minutes or until tender. Stir in caraway seed, salt and pepper.Meanwhile, cook noodles in salt water; drain well. Stir noodles into cabbage; add sour cream, if desired. Cook for 5 minutes or longer, stirring.
