Polish noodles and cabbage
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- caraway seed - 1 tsp
- sliced cabbage - 4 c
How to make polish noodles and cabbage:
Melt butter in large skillet. Add onion and saute until soft. Add cabbage and saute 5 minutes or until crisp-tender. Stir in caraway seed, salt and pepper. Meanwhile, cook noodles according to package directions. Drain well. Stir noodles into cabbage mixture.For variety or main dish, consider adding a variety of chopped cooked meats and additional spices to taste.
