Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • water - 7 Tbsp
  • vinegar - 1 Tbsp
  • shortening - 1 c
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • sifted flour or wheat flour - 3 c

How to make pie crust:

Mix flour and salt together. Cut shortening into flour mixture.

In a separate bowl, beat egg and add vinegar and water. Mix. Add water mixture to flour mixture. If dry, add more water using tablespoon measure. Separate and roll into pies. Makes 3 pie shells.
