Ingredients/Components

  • chopped pecans - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • water - 5 Tbsp
  • coconut - 1/2 c
  • melted butter - 1/2 c
  • vinegar - 1 Tbsp
  • shortening - 1 c
  • raisins - 1/2 c
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • beaten eggs - 2 item
  • Add water, egg and vinegar

How to make japanese fruit pie:

Mix shortening, salt and flour. Add water, egg and vinegar. Mix. Makes 2 single crusts.Filling:1 c. sugar1/2 c. melted butter2 beaten eggs1 Tbsp. vinegar1 tsp. salt1/2 c. chopped pecans1/2 c. coconut1/2 c. raisins Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.
