- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- melted margarine - 2 Tbsp
- pecans - 1 c
- 9-inch unbaked pastry shell - 1 item
- Karo dark syrup - 1 c
How to make pecan pie:
Beat eggs slightly in a small bowl with mixer at medium speed. Beat in corn syrup, sugar, vanilla, margarine and salt. Cover pastry with pecans. Pour filling into pastry shell. Bake in a 350° oven for 55 to 65 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
