  • salt - 1 c
  • water - 2 qt
  • vinegar - 1 qt
  • clove garlic - 1 item
  • mustard seed
  • dill seed - 1 tsp
  • pickling spice - 1 Tbsp
  • pod hot pepper optional - 1 item

How to make pickled okra:

Add To Each Jar:1 tsp. mustard seed1 tsp. dill seed1 clove garlic1 Tbsp. pickling spice1 pod hot pepper (optional) Mix the water, vinegar and salt. Bring to a boil. Pack whole, raw okra in hot jars with spices. Pour hot liquid over okra in jars and seal.
