Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- oil - 1/4 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 1 c
- yellow cornmeal - 1 c
How to make perfect cornbread:
Sift together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add eggs, milk and oil. Beat just until smooth, (do not overbeat). Pour into a greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 425° for 20 to 25 minutes.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Breads, Oven.
