  • salt
  • water - 10 c
  • sage - 1/4 tsp
  • oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • tomato paste - 6 oz
  • cayenne - 1/4 tsp
  • large onion - 1 item
  • lentils - 16 oz
  • tomatoes, cut up - 4 item
  • stalks celery, cut up - 2 item
  • pepperoni, sliced thin - 8 oz
  • medium carrots, cut up - 2 item

How to make pepperoni soup:

In a Dutch oven, combine lentils, water, pepperoni, onion, tomato paste, salt, oregano, sage and cayenne. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add tomato, carrots and celery; cover and simmer 40 minutes.
