- sage - 1/4 tsp
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- tomato paste - 6 oz
- cayenne - 1/4 tsp
- large onion - 1 item
- lentils - 16 oz
- tomatoes, cut up - 4 item
- stalks celery, cut up - 2 item
- pepperoni, sliced thin - 8 oz
- medium carrots, cut up - 2 item
How to make pepperoni soup:
In a Dutch oven, combine lentils, water, pepperoni, onion, tomato paste, salt, oregano, sage and cayenne. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
