Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- packed brown sugar - 1 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
How to make pecan puffs:
In bowl, beat egg whites and salt until peaks form, about 5 to 8 minutes. Fold in vanilla, pecans and brown sugar. Drop by well rounded teaspoonful onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 200° for 50 to 55 minutes or until firm to the touch. Store in airtight container. Makes 3 dozen.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Hand Formed cookies.
