Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • pecan halves - 1/4 c
  • eggs, unbeaten - 3 item
  • white Karo syrup - 3/4 c
  • 9-inch pie shell
  • broken pecans - 3/4 c

How to make pecan pie:

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and syrup. Beat well. Add broken pecans. Pour into pie shell. Place pecan halves around edge of crust. Bake in 450° oven 10 minutes. Decrease heat to 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
