Classic pecan pie
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- pecan halves
- margarine, melted - 3 Tbsp
- eggs, slightly beaten - 3 item
- light or dark corn syrup - 1 c
- 9-inch pie shell, unbaked - 1 item
How to make classic pecan pie:
Stir together the first 5 ingredients until blended. Add pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake in 350° oven 50 to 60 minutes.Chocolate Pecan Pie: Decrease sugar to 1/3 cup. Add 4 ounces melted semi-sweet chocolate.
