Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • white corn syrup - 1 c
  • light brown sugar, firmly packed - 1 c
  • pecan meats, broken - 2 c

How to make pecan pie:

Cream butter; add sugar and syrup. Add salt to eggs and beat until light. Blend eggs with first mixture. Add vanilla and pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake 35 minutes longer or until filling is set.
