Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 3/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- brown sugar, packed - 1/4 c
- white sugar - 3/4 c
- melted margarine or butter - 1/3 c
- canned pears, drained - 3 c
How to make pear crunch:
Mix pear slices with brown sugar in baking dish. Set aside. Mix flour, sugar, salt and cinnamon and set aside. Beat egg; mix with flour mixture. Spread over fruit. Pour melted margarine on top. Bake at 375° about 45 minutes until lightly browned. Serve warm. Makes about 6 (3/4 cup) servings.Recipe categories: Desserts, Low protein, Low fat.
