Ingredients/Components
- bite size pieces romaine lettuce - 8 c
- red pears, thinly sliced - 2 item
- crumbled blue cheese - 1/2 c
- coarsely chopped walnuts, toasted - 1/3 c
- Bake in ungreased shallow pan about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown
- cider vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- dijon mustard - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- clove garlic, finely chopped - 1 item
How to make pear and blue cheese salad:
To toast walnuts, heat oven to 350°. Bake in ungreased shallow pan about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown. Add to lettuce, pears and cheese. Toss with cider vinaigrette just before serving.Cider Vinaigrette:1/3 c. walnut, olive oRecipe categories: Fruit, Salads, Pears.
