Peanut butter fudge
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1 c
- white sugar - 1 c
- evaporated milk - 1/2 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- marshmallow pieces - 1 c
- peanut butter - 3/4 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
How to make peanut butter fudge:
In heavy saucepan, combine sugars, milk and butter. Cook until a soft ball forms in cold water (235°). Just before removing pan from heat, add remaining ingredients. Stir until marshmallows are almost melted. Remove from heat. Beat until mixture begins to thicken, about 1 minute. Pour immediately into buttered 8-inch square pan. When cool, cut into serving sized pieces. Yields 1 1/2 pounds.Recipe categories: Desserts, Candy, Fudge.
