Ingredients/Components

  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla extract - 1/4 tsp
  • egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
  • water - 1/2 c
  • nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • all-purpose flour - 1 c
  • raisins - 1 c
  • margarine - 1/4 c
  • unsweetened applesauce - 3/4 c
  • sugar substitute - 1 Tbsp

How to make sugar-free raisin bars:

In saucepan over medium heat, cook raisins, water, margarine, cinnamon and nutmeg until margarine is melted. Cook for 3 minutes. Add all remaining ingredients. Spread into an 8-inch square pan, that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake in 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until brown.
