Peaches and cream
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1/2 c
- flour - 3/4 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- beaten egg - 1 item
- margarine, melted - 3 Tbsp
- can peach slices - 1 oz
- box regular vanilla pudding mix - 1 oz
How to make peaches and cream:
Stir together flour, pudding mix and baking powder. Combine egg, milk and melted margarine; add to dry ingredients. Mix well. Spread into a greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan. Drain peaches, reserving 1/3 cup liquid. Chop peaches; sprinkle on top of batter. Beat together cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar and reserved peach liquid; pour over peaches. Combine 1 tablespoon sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Sprinkle over all. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Cool.Recipe categories: Desserts, Lunch/snacks, Side dish.
