Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten - 9 item
- paprika - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 lb
- grated Monterey Jack cheese
- hot sausage - 1 lb
- each green chilies - 3 cans
How to make panhandle casserole:
Brown sausage. Drain. Layer sausage, cheeses and chilies in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Mix eggs, milk and flour until well blended. Pour over layered mixture. Decorate top with chili strips in lattice design. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Egg, Cheese.
