  • chicken breast halves, boneless and skinless - 6 item
  • cornflake crumbs - 1/2 c
  • grated Parmesan cheese - 2 Tbsp
  • each onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, oregano and salt - 1/8 tsp
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • diet margarine - 2 Tbsp

How to make oven-fried chicken:

Rinse breasts and pat dry. Combine cornflake crumbs, seasonings and Parmesan cheese in a plastic bag. Dip chicken in milk and place in the bag of crumbs. Shake until coated. Place chicken in foil-lined baking dish and drizzle each piece with melted diet margarine. Bake in preheated 425° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Yield: 6 servings.
