Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- eggs - 4 item
- milk
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- slices dry bread - 8 item
How to make oven french toast:
Dip bread in mixture of eggs, sugar, salt, nutmeg and milk and place in greased oblong pan. Pour remaining egg mixture over all. Bake for 5 minutes at 475°. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with jelly or syrup and sausage.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Breakfast, Midwestern u.s..
