Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- margarine - 1 c
- butter flavoring - 1 tsp
- brown sugar, packed - 2 c
- popped popcorn - 8 qt
- light or dark syrup - 1/2 c
How to make oven caramel corn:
Combine sugar, margarine, syrup, salt and flavoring; bring to a boil. Cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add baking soda. Pour mixture over popcorn, mixing well. Scatter in a large shallow pan. Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring frequently.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Gluten Free.
