Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt
- water - 1 c
- diced onion - 1 item
- tapioca - 3 tsp
- medium potatoes - 3 item
- celery, chopped - 1/2 c
- tomatoes - 1 c
- stew meat - 2 lb
- slice bread, cubed - 1 item
- small carrots - 6 item
How to make oven beef stew:
Cut carrots in strips; peel and quarter potatoes. Combine all ingredients (do not brown meat). Put into a 3-quart casserole. Bake, covered in 325° oven for 3 1/2 hours. Freezes well.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Stew.
