Oriental pepper steak
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1/4 c
- ginger - 1/2 tsp
- soy sauce - 1/4 c
- clove garlic - 1 item
- medium onion - 1 item
- beef, in thin-sliced strips - 2 lb
- cubed green peppers - 2 item
How to make oriental pepper steak:
Over high heat, brown beef strips; push up to sides of pan. Mix garlic, sugar, ginger, 1/4 cup soy sauce and water. Reduce to medium heat and add meat. Simmer for 20 to 25 minutes. Increase to medium-high heat and add peppers and onions. Stir-fry for 5 to 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Steak.
