- sugar - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cornstarch - 1/2 Tbsp
- water - 2 Tbsp
- shortening - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- soy sauce - 4 Tbsp
- clove garlic - 1 item
- bean sprouts - 1 c
- tomatoes - 2 item
- green peppers - 2 item
- steak - 1 lb
How to make chinese pepper steak:
Cut steak into 1-inch pieces, as thin as possible. Heat shortening, garlic, salt and pepper in skillet and in it cook beef until brown on both sides. Add soy sauce and sugar. Cover and cook on high heat 5 minutes. Add bean sprouts, tomato and green peRecipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Rice.
