Ingredients/Components

  • ribeye or prime rib roast - 3 to
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
  • soy sauce - 1/2 Tbsp

How to make roast:

Wipe roast with damp paper toweling. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder, if used. Place meat on rack in roasting pan deep enough to hold the drippings. Insert a meat thermometer (registers 130° for very rare, 140° for medium and 170° for well done).

Brush with soy sauce and let roast stand at room temperature for about 13 minutes before carving. Carve and slice. Serve.
