Orange-glazed carrots
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/4 tsp
- butter or margarine - 4 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 tsp
- light brown sugar - 1/3 c
- orange juice - 1/4 c
- fresh baby carrots - 1/2 lb
- pinch of cinnamon - 1 item
How to make orange-glazed carrots:
Steam carrots; drain. Over low heat, melt butter and stir in flour. Add orange juice, light brown sugar, salt and cinnamon. Stir constantly until smooth and slightly thickened. Stir in vanilla. Mix glaze and carrots. Makes 2 large servings.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Carrots.
