Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- sour milk - 1 c
- boiling water - 3/4 c
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- Add milk, cocoa dissolved in boiling water, and vanilla
- white sugar - 1 c
- milk - 2/3 c
How to make gobs:
Cream together sugar, crisco and eggs. Add milk, cocoa (dissolved in boiling water), and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda and baking powder. Drop on greased baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes at 450 degrees.Filling:1 stick oleo1/2 c. Crisco1 c. white sugar1 tsp. vanilla2/3 c. milk3 Tbsp. flour Beat oleo, crisco and white sugar for at least 5 minutes. Add milk, flour and vanilla and beat for a long time! I use filling for cupcakes or to make cookie sandwiches, donuts, etc. Refrigerate. Keeps a long time if the kids don't find it!Recipe categories: Desserts, < 60 mins, For large groups.
