  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • dark brown sugar - 1/4 c
  • cooking oil - 3/4 c
  • raisins - 2 c
  • uncooked rolled oats - 2 c
  • Duncan Hines spice deluxe cake mix - 1 pkg

How to make old fashioned oatmeal cookies:

Preheat oven to 350°. Combine all ingredients; mix well. Drop from a teaspoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for about 12 minutes, until cookies test done with a toothpick. Cool on cookie sheet about 1 minute, then remove from rack to finish cooling.
