Oatmeal cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• eggs - 2 item
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour
• stick margarine - 1 item
• brown sugar - 1 c
• nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• boiling water
• oatmeal - 1 c

How to make oatmeal cake:

Pour boiling water over oatmeal and margarine; let stand 20 minutes. Cream together sugar, brown sugar and eggs. Stir into oatmeal mixture. Add 1 1/2 cups flour, salt, soda, baking powder, nutmeg and cinnamon. Mix well. Bake in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan 30 to 35 minutes at 350° until done.
