- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- stick margarine - 1 item
- brown sugar - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- boiling water
- oatmeal - 1 c
How to make oatmeal cake:
Pour boiling water over oatmeal and margarine; let stand 20 minutes. Cream together sugar, brown sugar and eggs. Stir into oatmeal mixture. Add 1 1/2 cups flour, salt, soda, baking powder, nutmeg and cinnamon. Mix well. Bake in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan 30 to 35 minutes at 350° until done.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
