  • cinnamon
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
  • coconut - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • boiling water
  • egg - 1 item
  • nuts - 1 c
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • quick oats - 1 c
  • eggs, unbeaten - 2 item
  • stick oleo or butter - 1 item

How to make oatmeal cake:

Topping:1 c. brown sugar1/4 c. butter1 c. coconut1 egg Mix first 3 ingredients; let cool. Stir 2 or 3 times. Add next 3 ingredients; mix well. Add next 6 ingredients; beat well. Bake in 9 x 13-inch greased loaf pan at 350° for 30 minutes.
